Central line Stories, a collection of the writing I created in collaboration with London Underground staff during my residency on the Central line, includes two new short stories, Early Turn and Talking About The Weather, inspired by conversations with Central line drivers. You can download the stories as text and audio files from Art on the Underground's website.

I have a story called Leaving in Route's latest anthology, Book At Bedtime.

My story, Staying Together is in Roads Ahead, an anthology of short stories by young regional writers, edited by Catherine O'Flynn, published by Tindal Street Press.

I had a story called Uniform published in Monsoon Press's anthology Behind the Hijab earlier this year.

You can read my story Last Christmas online. It was published in the monthly journal Litro, 100,000 of which were given away free in December 2008.

Other short fiction has been published in the beautifully produced, but quite hard to find online, Phoenix magazine, which is the arts magazine for Imperial College, London; on Pulp.Net, in Wonderwall (Route 16) and Concertina (Pen & Inc Press), and featured on Tales of the Decongested.

My short story Rainbows Seen From The Air Are Complete Circles (Route 16) was described in Aesthetica magazine as ... a vivid and original piece about how we should never judge by appearances, and it is ultimately about finding kindness in unexpected places.
