I write about people and the relationships between them. I am fascinated by unexpected meetings and complicated interactions. I am intrigued by place and people’s relationship to the places they live, work and breathe in.

As well as writing, I run a consultancy called UrbanWords which manages literature-based projects that engage with the process of regeneration (and has a lovely logo designed by the talented poet and designer Inua Ellams).
